Russ Dise

Russ Dise, the president and founder of JetLease, the world's largest private aviation leasing company, has a longtime history with hockey, as both supporter and participant. Dise is founder of Team Ohio Hockey, an Ohio High School All-Star program, and also works on behalf of USA Olympic Ice Hockey Development Program. Among his proudest achievements on the ice is leading Team Ohio to the U18 Tier 1 National Championships two years in row and creating a high school developmental program which enables high school- aged athletes access to a variety of exposure at the pro, college, and junior hockey levels. Under his tutelage, Russ has produced over 350 college student athletes, four of whom have played in the National Hockey League. His formula is simple: “Mental toughness and mental discipline.” Along with their athletic achievements, Dise wants his players to be “great students and great citizens.” Coach Dise holds his Master in Coaching from USA Hockey and consults with hockey programs throughout the United States to help implement training techniques, philosophies, and systems that allow the current coaching staffs to maximize the seasons’ success with the personnel currently in place.Coach Dise currently resides in Palm Beach, Florida with his wife Jennifer and still consults with Team Ohio on a regular basis.

Bill Beard

As one of the co-founders of Team Ohio Hockey we were not sure what exactly the program would do. We wanted to give players the ability to remain playing for their High School while also having the chance to chase the dream of advancing further. We knew we had a great nucleus of players who were talented enough to compete at the next level. All they needed was to be exposed to the right people in order to advance their hockey careers past high school. Team Ohio basically hit the road to tournaments and games across North America that would allow the players to display their talents in front of coaches and scouts from all different levels of the hockey world. The early success of players advancing to various next levels set the foundation for those who would follow. I knew we had something going the right way when we walked into a tournament in Canada and scouts were approaching us to find out “Who we had this year to look at.”

Today Team Ohio has grown and expanded to serve many more players than we ever imagined it could when it was founded. It remains a great opportunity to perform in front of decision makers and also enjoy the invaluable experience of playing for your school.
